Hengshenda Group Berhad is the embarked on Ship to Ship (STS) transfers, having provided safe and efficient STS services.
- All Ship to Ship transfers are conducted and performed by Hengshenda Group are completed in accordance with the latest ICS / OCIMF guidelines, International Marine Forum (OCIMF) STS Transfer Guide, International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) guidelines, International Maritime Organization guidelines, Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 guidelines.
The STS Operations management team consists of vessel Masters, pilots, and the STS Advisors.
The overall control of an STS operation lies with the Master of each vessel involved. STS Advisors are responsible for ensuring a safe and coordinated STS transfer.
Ship to Ship (STS) Transfer Operations involves the cargo transfer operations between 2 seagoing vessels, either while stationary or underway. HSD has embarked one of the another challenging and exciting sectors within the Marine Service Industry.
HSD has paved the way in the STS Industry by introducing the Approved STS Trans-shipment Hub of Northern. Another milestone accredited to HGB is the partnership with Lumut Port, to establish the STS Trans-shipment Hub of Malaysia Northern region.
